I play with images collected, created, captured, found, and sought. In my own practice, digital experimentation serves as a way to explore the contemporary transformations of image and identity. I like to treat the image as a site of accident, where collage, assemblage, and layering generate tension and distortion. By weaving together figurative elements drawn from visual archives, video games, and stock imagery with more abstract forms, I aim to create compositions that oscillate between the familiar and the uncanny, the recognizable and the unsettling.
The series gathers images of spatial voids, of places that feel as though one has already stepped into them, sites marked by a strange familiarity: empty spaces and crowded minds. These domestic plains, seeping with simulacra.
